Contact

First step is talk about what publishing option you would like, we can do this by either email, a call or a video call. I will discuss with you what details I need from you to set up an account with KDP and I will give you all the information about every step of the way.

On this part I will ask you if you have the copyright already done (if you do not have it, I will advice to get it) or if you have bought an ISBN.

But you realised there is a lot to read, apart from formatting your manuscript, you have to fill in a lot of details, maybe do the cover too.

Your time is precious and all of these can take a while especially if it is the first time you do it.

Fill in information

Put in all the information in KDP about details of the book, content of the book and the pricing information along with the royalties.

It will take a week if there are no problems with the manuscript's format.

If you do not have a cover, I will do one with KDP. I will ask you about different options to choose from.

Details, cover, payment.

Once we had a chat and agree in what you want and how you would like to publish. You will send me all the details about the book, the cover (if you have one) and I will send you a link to make the payment by PayPal or whatever method we agree on.

Verification

There is a previewer on KDP that shows how the book would look like, it also alert you of any errors on manuscript's format.

After seeing that everything looks good, we will order a proof copy of the book or download a digital version on a kindle to see if there are any mistakes.

If there are any mistakes, they can be fix because it hasn't gone for approval to be published yet.

*The proof copy (paperback) takes 5 to 7 days to arrive.

Publishing!!!

The last part is to wait for the approval from KDP to publish the book. It can take up to 72 hours to be ready for people to buy.

And then, that is it !!! The book is published!!!
